For me, I am now at level 42, in order to make more money instead of leveling up only, I prefer to mine gold ore. It is valuable and always in demand, it is also can be used to make jewellery or smelted into bars for smithing experience. In this case, crafting guild is a good choice for you to get gold ore efficiently. Unless you hit level 80, the Living Rock Caverns will make you profitable. To mine ores, you only need to left-click once on any rock which contains ores. The color of a rock’s vein is similar to the ores’ color, that is to say, a black vein will yield coal ore, a dark blue vein will yield mithril ore. Right click and select prospect, then you could learn which ore the rock contained. If you are a seasoned player, it is better to recognize the color of the rock instead of prospecting. After changing color, the rock will finally respawn another ore, which you can continue to mine. The more people in the world, the less time it takes to respawn.
